Where are you from?
Twelve years ago, when I was a graduate student in Ithaca, NY, USA, I shared a house with four other people. One of my roommates was a young, but somehow very wise, man. His slogan was "live simply", and I found his way of living inspiring in its simplicity.
I remember the first evening he moved into our house. He said:
- You can learn a lot about people by asking them these three questions: "Where are you from?", "What do you do?", and "Who are you with?" ... So where are you from?
This picture is a part of my long answer to this question.
